 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 UPDATED: As of April, 2nd 2024,Viral load Undetectable.

He actually had the rarer, less terrible, form of pancreatic cancer. Normally when you have it you're gone within a year or so. I had a close (straight male) friend die at the age of 39 from this (the more severe form, but the more typical one) just five years ago, and he lived about 18 months past his diagnosis, maybe 24. Jobs lived 8 years.
