hi, 2 weeks earlier i had sex with a commercial sex worker. i had protected sex but the only mistake i did is that i didn't withdraw after ejaculation and my penus was still in her vagina for about 20 sec. .my question is that am i at risk of hiv infection because my penus was not completely erect and vaginal fluid might have entered inside the condom.

Test over this incident? No, absolutely not.
Every sexually active person ought to get a full STD panel done at least once (or twice) a year, including an HIV test. It's the adult thing to do.

I'll expand on my reply from last night. I didn't have the time or energy to reply in detail.
The reason you're supposed to withdraw immediately after ejaculation (and hold on to the condom while you do so) is so that you don't leave the condom behind in the anus or vagina of your partner.
Doing so can be more of a risk to the receptive partner (the person with said anus or vagina) for more easily transmitted STIs as well as an increased risk for pregnancy in women. It's also messy when your cum leaks out of the left-behind condom onto the bedsheets. It's not a risk to you.
When using condoms, the important thing for you is that the head of your penis remains covered. If it's covered, you're covered where hiv is concerned.
You have not had a risk and you do not need to test specifically over this one situation.
Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.
To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.
Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.
ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER THIS SPECIFIC SITUATION, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.
Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

hello everyone ,
1. a couple of weeks ago i had sex with a female friend , we were in a hurry and i think i might have wore the condom inside out . the condom did not roll down to the base of the penis but i am sure that the tip of the penis was covered .
so was there any risk wearing the condom inside out ?
2. secondly , i want to ask another question , my friend had unprotected intercourse (he is a male ) with a sex worker , he got tested initially at 6 weeks than again at 10 weeks , he was negative in both the tests . so does he need to test again. please help..

If you had put the condom on the wrong way around, it would not have rolled down AT ALL. It would only have covered the first 2 or 3 mm and it would have fallen off your penis before you ever got the chance to put your penis inside her.
The important thing is that the head of your penis was fully covered. If some of the shaft of your penis was not covered, this is not a risk. Hiv cannot be transmitted through the skin and the skin on the shaft of your penis is no different to the skin anywhere else on your body.
You did NOT have a risk.
Your friend might want to test again at (or after) twelve weeks, because only a three month test is considered conclusive. However, a ten week negative is not going to change.
