I'm back
« on: June 03, 2008, 02:33:05 pm »
well for a few, been lurkin' 'round a bit lately.  My old HP PC crashed, after 7yrs, didn't think it was worth fixin'. Have a brand new Dell 530S wide flat screen, Vista, etc.  Vista has probs, ain't perfect but never was XP.  Rather complex but not at all complicated.  Didn't lose anything worth much with the crash; learned from others, burn and save improtant stuff or don't dwnld it!  This one his DVD reader and burner, was supposed to have a mwdia card reader, still fighting with Dell over that.  Heard on the news the other night there is a class action suit against Dell for things like this.  Oh well don't really need it and don't know if my little cheap dig cam card would work anyway.
Am really doinf great physically, have some stress over the Dem primaries, will nver vote for any one named Barack Hussain Obama; love Hillary: sorry that topic belongs eslewhere, but everything effects my live living with HIV.

P.S.  I turned 65 April 16; never thought I would make it to offical old man stats; not real happy 'bout it and will admit it is affecyting me emotionally, but seems not physically.  Funny how a number can affect the way U think; don't feel old, just the stigma: guess we all know about stigmas!!

Hey Jim, good to see you again you old codger! (hehehe, just had to say it!) I hope this means you'll be around more often?

How's the menagerie? I seem to remember at least one dog, a couple cats and iguanas too.

More importantly, how are YOU? Still fishing?

And by the way, it's no use lying about your age in your signature line if your going to brag about being 65 in your posts. ;D Don't let other people's attitude towards aging get you down, buddy. Be smug about surviving! And remember, you're only as old as the man you feel, so get out there and feel some youngins! ;)

GOOD to see you here again!

Happy hugs,
Ann

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts
