Well, I posted under the Newly Positive Forum. But I wanted to introduce myself here. I go by the Nickname Ravhyn (Raven) it's my artist signature name.  I am 27 years old, and a proud army wife.  Just a little bit about my past briefly.

At 16 I ran away lived on the streets for two years. I didn't live it up hard style, I went through shelters tried to find work and never caved in to any of the street pressures.  at 18 I moved back home after getting over my stubborness and met a man. That we will call Bob.  We got married several years later we got divorced, I remarried a man we will call Tom, he had an affair on me so I returned to Bob.  However, Bob it seem's had become quite the man while we were apart and from what I learned down the road led a very risky life of lots of drugs and unprotected sex wtih women. (I hadn't known this when we got back together) We were together 3 months, no protection when we found out he was positive.  He broke down, his mother went nuts and I left. 

Now it's been 4 years and for those four years I have been remarried to a wonderful man that I love. I was tested in Texas came back  negative, and then once about a year or two ago? Can't remember the time frame  In fact the night after me and Bob had sex they did a dna swab and I remember the nurse telling me that I had nothing to worry about that if I tested negative then I was negative and that the Dna swab was very accurate.  even though I told her me and Bob had sex the night before.

My computer started glitching on me it only lets me post so much before it get's out of whack.

But up to the present. I know it's only been a few days but I think I am holding on steady and strong. My husband is doing fine.  At least as best as he can be. The only problem we are facing is his company, they believe that I have cheated on my husband because his test has come back negative after all this time of us having unprotected sex.  So now they are coming down on him to leave me. I know that he won't it's just hard dealing with them.  I'm an army brat, and an army wife.  I've had to deal with the army all my life and when they want to they will make you bend exactly to there will.  I've seen them make soldiers leave there wives for as little as a messy house if they stop by.

I know we will overcome this though, we have a strong marriage and even more then a marriage we have a wonderful friendship.

Welcome to the women's family.  The ladies here are a great bunch, very supportive, and we are extremely tight knit. 

I've been positive for 20 years; my first husband infected me, and he died 20 years ago, when I was in treatment.  It sounds like you're handling your situation well.  Keep your chin up, and if you ever have a question, or need support, we're here!

Thank you ladies =) between this forum and the aids tribe I am feeling a lot better.  After hitting the research thread my spirits are renewed. Today I get to go and face my husbands company, and I'm a little edgy about it. I'm a reclusive type person I rarely leave my house (In fact going to the hospital for my fertility treatment which is how they found out about the hiv) was the first time in over a year I had stepped from my comfort zone.

Anyone have any recommendations for vitamins? I havent started meds yet because I go today to get my blood drawn so they can start to find out what my Viral Load and CD4 count is. (I'm hoping not too terrible low after 4 years of being undiagnosed) But the lady who told me my results recommended Vitamin D. She said new studies had shown that it was good for over all health and that everyone should be taking it.  Especially people like me who rarely leave the house because the vitamin naturally comes from the sun. 

I'm taking Lysine, Vitamin C, and B12.  (at least so far until they put me on meds which I hope isn't in the near future) 

what else would be good?

I take a women's multi-vitamin, and calcium w/ vitamin D.  And that's it as far as vitamins go.  You can, I'm sure, talk to your doctor and see what (s)he recommends.
