Received my first supply of meds
« on: July 24, 2014, 08:28:03 pm »
Yesterday I received my first months supply of Complera through my mail order rx.
I have read a lot where people build a 'reserve' of meds. How would I do this properly? Should I wait about a week to start?

My insurance will only allow refills after 3 weeks on my monthly refills. So  around every three weeks plus a couple day I order a refill. Gaining a couple or three doses each month. Have managed to build a good reserve doing this.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worthwhile.                              The point of the journey is not to arrive.

how much of a surplus do you want to hold? you could do a combination, wait a week or so, and also refill a little ahead each month. but do start, and tell your doc you waited.

A few days. I still am very nervous to start as well. I can't figure out what the best time to take it ia going to be for me. I rarely eat breakfaat, and also can't get a set schedule for dinner. What is an appropriate time frame? My specialist didn't give me a window to work with.

Started my complera Sunday night. I have had no side effects! Taking it at night. Can't wait for my first round of blood work poat-medication. I had an extremely low viral load, maybe an undetectable will be the results!
