OOOOH Baby, I got poked!
« on: March 13, 2007, 08:07:25 am »
I finally remembered to get my labs done yesterday. At least this time I didn't need to fast because I just had the CD4 and viral load done.

When I talked to the doc yesterday, I mentioned in passing I had my labs drawn.

He said, "We are going to cross our fingers. Its going to be a good viral load and a high CD4."

I just nodded.

Hmmmm. I think he was trying to sound optimistic. It didn't work.

Oh well, time will tell - about 10 days time, that is.

This month marks the 11th year I have been on two of my three meds, AZT and 3TC. May will mark the 11th year for the third, Crixivan.

Oy!

By the way, it has now been 50 or 51 days since I have smoked. I dreamed I was smoking last night.

Anyone else ever have smoking dreams after they quit?

HUGS,

Mark

Same here.  I was looking forward to hearing a Bucko-style (Spin cycle) account of the whole incident with all the juicy details!  Then I learn it's only about a needle... what a let down!   ;)

Congrats on the non-smoking thing.  It gets easier.  After 16 years of not smoking, I can't imagine smoking a cigarette.  Actually, it didn't take all that long; I think it was a month or two before I really didn't miss them, but I didn't dwell on the fact that that I wasn't smoking anymore.  I just considered myself a non-smoker and smoking wasn't an option.  Keep up the good work - with the meds and the non-smoking.

David
