He sounds like a man with a conscience as well as good sense.  Hopefully, we'll have more politicians who are willing to do the same (support same-sex marriages).

He is not a bad guy.  Do I agree with all his policies, NO!  Outsourcing public services is NEVER a good idea.  But, I do agree with him on this issue!

Thank you for the link.  I e-mailed it to many of my friends.  When I saw it on TV, it made me think:  if this was my father (and my Dad had a "Not in My Backyard" attitude about gays) and he went on TV to tell people that he wanted the same relationship for me that every heterosexual couple is entitled to by law...then I would just call him Father of The Year. 

I know across America, there are many "silent" fathers like him.  Whether their children are gay or HIV+, it takes a transformation.  It's such a blessing to see that transformation in public.  It makes me believe that love really exists, and by sharing a bit of our lives each day with someone else makes us all stronger.
