Brad Pitt to Produce Movie of "The Normal Heart"

Larry Kramer's 1985 play about the early years of the AIDS epidemic and the founding of Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC) in New York City, "The Normal Heart," will finally come to the big screen, produced by Brad Pitt's production company.  Ryan "Glee" Murphy is set to direct, and Mark Ruffalo will star as Ned Weeks, the character Kramer based on himself.  (Barbra Streisand held the film option rights for twenty years.)  Kramer himself has written the screenplay.
