(I'm throwing down the gauntlet!   ;D

I'll actually pay the $99.00 for each of you to risk your damned fool lives jumping off the top with nothing more than a rubber band standing between you and your . . . . . well we'll just leave it at that.

There's only one condition.   If either of you, or both of you, chicken out then you'll owe me double (that would  be $198.00 each  :o).

So what do you say?

That looks really fun to me . One reason I traveled to New Zealand was to do all the crazy fun adventure sport that is offered . I'm going to have to make it to Vegas one day just to jump off a building . It will be worth it .

i got that large cocktail for you, hehehe.

i have a fear of heights and falliing that keeps me from peering out of windows above the third floor. for some unknown reason that stratosphere jump looks fun.

also, is anyone going to the blondie show? i know im being a cheap bastard but that lady kicks ass. now if it were like blondie and pat benatar id be all over it.

but blondie suffices and i think i can pry the purse open enough to shell out some dough but i'm not rolling solo. also, watching deuce bigalow with my niece yesterday and hearing call me made me want to see miss harry perform.

she performed recently at a fund raiser wtih gaga and sting and she still looks & sounds amazing.

If I can make it to Vegas, I may just have join you dumbasses and jump off the tower ;D I've always wanted to go bridge diving. This is the next best thing.

wow,

blondie, stratosphere jumping, cirque du soleil and not to mention the gay clubs i plan on visiting (read flex, gypsy or krave) on the fruit loop...

this is gonna cost me. somethings gotta go. i think its gonna be my liver : ). those daytime meetings are gonna be fun...lots of coffee to combat the previous nights excursions. but thats life. and i want to live a lil....and the drinks are free in my room at vegas  ::)

what are some of the ideas floating around for our activities after the meet and greets & discussions? i want to be level headed for those but i am bringing my appetite for destruction.

I have been eight times to Vegas in the past three years and Cher always manages to be away!  One time I finally scored a ticket and she was in town she had to cancel because of her throat.  I settled for the Cher knockoff (Divas in Drag...or something like that), significantly cheaper, and a real hoot.  There's always plenty to see in Vegas.  Looking forward to August.

For clarification, Blondie will be indoors at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, not the pool / beach.  General admission only.  Tickets are $55.  Saturday August 7.

Yes, Mandalay Bay's web site indicates that the venue is the Beach.  Some other ticketing web sites state it is the Events Center, but Mandalay Bay's own web site should be authoritative.

ok, I'll admit it, I'm a Vegas buffet whore...

I know the Vegas Buffets are not what they used to be, I can remember getting all you can eat buffets with Crab legs, steak, etc...for something ridiculous like 8.99, but that was years ago. It seems now you can't enter a buffet anywhere in Vegas for less than $23 (dinner).

However I found this All Inclusive Citywide Buffet Pass for $39.99, good for 24 hours. The "Citywide" claim is somehwat overblown as it only includes HArrahs owned Casinos. But there are 7 buffets on the list, including Ceasars and Paris. This seems like a pretty good deal, especially for someone like me who likes to eat alot.

Anyone been there recently that can comment on the Vegas Buffets or this "pass"?
