Title: What is Hijacking???

Just wondering what this means.  I am new to this and noticed it come up a few times and wouldn't want to  mess anything up or offend anyone, so what is hijacking? ???

Am new here too ... my sense is:  it's when one replies to a post and take the subject down a different path than the original poster had in mind ... i'm afraid of doing it cuz I don't want the post marshals arresting me ... LOL ... ... help us out here

Ann Coulter (http://www.anncoulter.com/) is such a slag. I can't work out if she is a woman, or just a really skinny and slightly less educated version of Mary Cheney.

ok, I get it now, just wanted to be sure - BTW Matt, freakn' hilarious article about the guy and the table, great thread too!  I love this place, I haven't laughed like that in a long time :o
