Thank you all for your kind wishes (and special thanks to Alan for always keeping track of everyone's birthdays). Have hardly posted here in the last year but I'm never far away and visit the forums virtually every day. This past year has been extremely busy with my work and my partner's health issues. Some of you may remember my partner developed crypto in his lung and ended up having to have a lobe removed in June. All is well, he memded very nicely and he actually is back at work now (he is a flight attendant and was on furlough but was called back in December and began flying again yesterday!!)
My health continues to be a source of inspiration for me, my vl is still undetectible and my CD4 is now 306 (it was 30 at baseline in June 2005). The MAC I have been fighting as part of IRIS left large scars on my neck due to lymph node swelling but the body is really an amazing thing in that the scarring is virtually healed!!
My meds remain the same as they have from day 1 - Sustive & Epzicom.
Dare I say "life almost seems normal"?
