Welcome to Do I Have HIV?

Welcome to the "Do I Have HIV?" POZ forum.

This special section of the POZ forum is for individuals who have concerns about whether or not they are HIV positive. Individuals are permitted to post up to three questions or responses in this forum.

Ongoing participation in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum (posting more than three questions or responses) requires a paid subscription, with secure payments made via PayPal.

A seven-day subscription is $9.99, a 30-day subscription is $14.99 and a 90-day subscription is $24.99.

Anyone who needs to post more than three messages in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum -- including past, present and future POZ Forums members -- will need to subscribe, with secure payments made via PayPal.

There is no charge to read threads in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum, nor will there be a charge for participating in any of the other POZ forums. In addition, the POZ Basics "HIV Transmission and Risks" and "HIV Testing" basics, will remain accessible to all.

Stupid Question

Just a question, which I am sure people will make fun of me about. I was experimenting with a friend. I am married. He and i were hanging out. One thing led to another. We engaged in mutual master. and then he got some on my face and i THINK the corner of my eye, but my eyes were closed. I could not tell if i got any in my eye...it did not burn or anything. I wiped it off. I don't know his status and probably should. Do I need to be worried about this? Should I go for testing? Thanks alot

Brad,

We're not here to make fun of you or anyone else. What you and your friend did is actually a lot more common than you may think - and not one person has ever ended up hiv positive from mutual masturbation leading to possible cum in the eye. And besides, if you got any in your eye, it would have stung like hell and you would have known about it. It's not an hiv risk anyway.

As long as you use condoms for any anal or vaginal intercourse outside your marriage, you'll be just fine where hiv is concerned. Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple. Read through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use them with confidence.
