Title: infection hiv
Post by: dkseru on August 20, 2012, 10:27:20 am
hello there, i had some exposure with female escorts and anal and vaginal sex was protected, but i gave and received oral sex, i had swallowed my saliva, i am male.
one exposure happened just 20 days before. right now I feel sick, some pain at my back, may be because i am paranoid. no temperature at all but i feel like i have it. I did use a swab to test weeks before and came as negative, but unfortunately, I washed my mouth with water and the swab touched very much the wall of inner mouth.it said do not touch the walls and just the outer gum only (the top side). but after at least 2 or 3 minutes after washing i did all, i think its still conclusive, whats ur opinion. its an usfda approved oraquick swab.
in one of those incident which happened 5 months ago I gave rimming as well with out protection, no smell was there and felt absolutely clean -thats y i gave. what should i do now. i am shy to get tested, though very keenly i wanted to know too.
please post reply

As long as  you used condoms properly for intercourse then you were not at risk for HIV. The only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse.

Nothing you are reporting symptomatically is in anyway HIV specific. That's no surprise since nothing you did was risky for HIV. There's no need for testing nor for further concern on your part about HIV.

Can any one explain my situation.

everyone has hopefully seen my thread also.
I am in  absolute panic. I have been tested 4 times and all -ve, the last one was on sept 23, 2012 and no hiv 1&2 antibodies or antigens [present. I spoke top the lady I last seen today and she said she got tested 2 months before and all were fine. even though i am just only worried about the cunnilingus I had with her, all other things were fine and protected. when i talked to her today she ascertain that she is fine and got regular checkups in 2 months and she said she is fine in all. I have to believe and i believe her too. But the test when its done(duo)its 1 month and 20 days after this, which is the last incident and the doctor also said orals is not at all any risk with hiv, though it is risk for chlamydia and gonorrhea. But still i ma afraid and he showed the lab results the last time and one previous also. but now i can see small bumps counts 4 and its little red in colour in my fair areas and dark in dark area. the private doctor consoles me and do a test and he always says test is  waste of money as you don't have hiv. I go again test after test when any fever or anything comes in. this time i have rash and its not head ache and its like head is heavy or something like that. \i never get head aches at all. and the glands just by side of throat is enlarged(or not) Its unabe to see, but i feel something like that. I don't have temperature as i check it everytime myself. but the bumps i said is itchy sometimes not very much just at time and slightly but i can control it easily. |The one near the elbow( i mentioned all 4 is in the arms) is 3days before itchy and in some tension i started scratching it and it become enlarged as the size of  apenny but quite flat, and in 2 or three hours its settled and it all happened in the evening and the next day its just a bump. the 2 which is on the innerside of the upper half of the arm is becoming smaller and i thinks its gonna diminish. The bumps are small hopefully half a cm in radius and looking like a mosquito bite. i am gonna test again  and still afraid. could anyone help me. is it any way related to hiv. i tested for chlamydia 2 times and -ve

dk,

Whatever is going on with you has nothing to do with hiv.

You have not had a risk for hiv infection.

You do not have hiv.

If you feel unwell, see a doctor. Whatever is going on has nothing to do with a virus you do not have.

everyone included u said the samething. still worried. can i ask you something. once i got tested i was happy and came back home and then 2 weeks after something happens and i get worried and i go again.

doctor became empathetic in my case even.
my quwestion is this. will it shows pos. if you have symptoms related to hiv, is this for sure. or will it means nothing about testing in this time as it could be less antibody/antigens in the blood for not the blood test to pick up, even though the symptoms really is hiv oriented. i hope you understood what i meant

It's not our job to hold your hand and to continue answering your questions when you have been repeatedly told you did not have a risk. You're going to get a negative result tomorrow.

And I am going to warn you that if you continue to return here with more questions you are going to find yourself getting a Time Out from the site. HIV is not your problem as your test result is going to confirm.

Cut out the drama and get on with your life.

That's no surprise here. I note that I already see a some lingering doubt there because you have not actually received the result.

I'm going to caution that we are not going to indulge you in ongoing what ifs and such about your HIV status. If you return with more of that stuff you are very quickly going to find yourself getting a Time Out from the site.

Cut out the drama and get on with your life.

dk,

Test whenever you want. You haven't had a risk for hiv infection so your negative results are not going to change.

You're still under a time out warning.

I'm going to caution that we are not going to indulge you in ongoing what ifs and such about your HIV status. If you return with more of that stuff you are very quickly going to find yourself getting a Time Out from the site.

hello, Ann you were mentioning how to use condom for safe somewhere I had seen. could you explain it please, as I am going to have anal sex with an escort. and rimming when receiving cause any infections other than hiv
Title: Re: infection hiv
Post by: Ann on November 27, 2012, 09:23:13 am
dk,

Rimming is not a risk for hiv infection, although it can lead to other, much more easily transmitted STIs as well as intestinal bugs and parasites.

There are two main causes of condom breakage.

One is not using enough water-based lube. Not using enough (or any) lube causes friction that may break the condom.

The other is having an air bubble in the tip. When putting a condom on, you need to pinch the tip between the finger and thumb of one hand, while rolling it down with the other.

Once it's on, give it a firm stroke from tip to base while watching the tip. If there is air in the tip, you'll see it. If there IS air in the tip, roll it back up and try again.

If it's dark and you can't see the tip well, when you do (what I call) the "stroke test", when you get to the bottom of the stroke, keep a firm grip of the condom and penis at the base and touch the tip with your other hand.

If there IS air present, you'll feel the bubble making the tip stand up and away from the head of the penis. If there IS NO air, the tip will be sucked up tight against the head of the penis.

Once you're sure there is no air bubble in the tip, apply plenty of water-based lube and go for it.

You need to keep in mind that you must also take the above steps to insure correct condom usage for vaginal intercourse, not just anal. While condom breakage is more common during anal intercourse, it's not unheard of during vaginal.

You should also read through the condom and lube links in my signature line.

I am sure to do anything silly this time. Rimming is the receiving part I meant, Ann. and what to do for a sure +result for no breakage  for anal with condom

just today I went to see an escort and when I was sucking her nipples suddenly I felt something salty and i stopped with in 30 sec and washed my mouth and asked her whats that. we saw no blood or anything. And after I did the penetration and finished I took myself out but the condom stayed there in her vagina, she even laughed on that, but sure for i think the outer part of condom was outside her vagina. And just now only i saw I have some tear in skin of lips, we kissed but not even french kiss, might be a bit of that, but what made me upset is i asked her ever the condom breakage happened for her and she had before and she checked in her country and it was fine, but in 2 weeks she did the checking. i am not really worried much, but tensed. is there any risk for anything, including hiv. do i need to do anything special

Once again you were not at risk. I can tell you right now we are not going to indulge in another round of what ifs.

You've been warned more than once about your non-risk dramas and you are just at the edge of getting a Time Out. Cut it out and get on with your life.

Thanks for fast reply, sorry sir, its my tension made me to write again, pls read carefully this time and i may not come again and again, pls don't take me out also, my last hiv test as u all predicted was negative. the incident happened just today, i am worried about the abrasion (if i am right) on MY lip, where her saliva might have contacted. And the  salty thing (blood) from nipple into my mouth. she said she had pills at the time of condom breakage even and never she worries about after that even though she was very sacred at that time till get the result. imagine she is +.

Nothing you are reporting this time put you at risk for HIV. A condom staying in the vagina as you withdraw your penis is not unusual and does not constitute a risk.

Cut out the drama. Get on with your life. That warning about a Time Out still stands.

thanks andy, the last thing abrasion in my lip, and the salty thing when sucking nipples, if it was blood it could have gotten through the abrasion which was on the lip bit a place outside where saliva has little or a little contact. and the kiss she did, has it contain particles in her saliva? even u all said it has dozen of proteins and enzymes. I am talking about her saliva, will it carries hiv and gotten through tat abrasion on my lip?

DK,

Saliva is NOT infectious.

Nothing you are reporting about your latest incident was a risk for hiv infection.

We're not here to go over, step-by-step, every single sexual encounter you have.

There's one thing and one thing only you need to remember in order to remain hiv negative: Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. [/b]IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE!!![/b]

i used condom for the intercourse after that, (based on incident happened yesterday)for the blowjob even but, the lady i was with when I asked sat on my laps facing away from me, the penis was erect and was without condom, just for 2 or 3 sec, I am pretty sure that it didn't enter, i asked her to stand up and she also said it didn't enter into her vagina, even she is serious about condoms. I used a wet wipe to wipe my penis and urethra also just after she stood, its all happened in 10 secs. i am really worried now, whether it has entered or not, could andy or ann pls pls help me, why I said is because when I have the intercourse also I don't feel it much, i think you understand the situation

dk,

Enough is enough already.

I've discovered you have also been posting here as shawn (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=43061.0). It just goes to show how unhealthy your obsession with hiv has become. If you can't handle the guilt of seeing professionals to sate your sexual appetites, then stay home and watch porn. It's that easy.

You're permanently banned. Surely you knew I'd catch up with you sooner or later? You've been around long enough to know we only permit ONE account per person. You're not so special that you're 1. going to get hiv in some way that nobody ever has and 2. get away with playing us. Just go away.

Ann
