Fall colors
« on: October 25, 2008, 09:26:25 am »
They are at there peak in southern Michigan
Grabbed the Ipod, a coffee and went for a drive in the old truck yesterday.
I was just in awe of the beauty that surrounds us this time of year.
I'm going to do it again today, it has to be the peak weekend for the colors.
Hope you all didn't miss it, blink and its gone!

A lot of us over look the simple pleasures that surround us.  I live in Florida but am originally from Tennessee and remember nature's colors at this time of year very vividly.  These days I like to get out to the Everglades on a nice overcast day and enjoy nature in all her splendid glory.

  Thanks for sharing Lucas...

 :)

I miss the fall and the smells that go along with it. We've been getting a touch of some cooler weather finally down here in Florida. In fact, I just opened all the windows and turned the fans on to help pulls some of it in here !! Western New York  was a great time in the fall. I've only been back up there twice in the fall, since I moved to Florida 28 years ago !! It's about 68 degrees right now. I love the cooler weather , it rejuvenates me !

Photos please!

We never get nice fall colours here on The Rock - one of the few things I miss about the States. :(  The trees here just turn a muddy brown.

Thank you GSO! That tree is gorgeous.  It reminds me of the maple that grew in front of the house we lived in when I was in high school.

Anyone got more? Pretty please?

More pics please for the 'fall' deprived aidsmeds members. I've only ever seen one fall and that was in Montreal 4 years ago.

I must say, that I do love nature very much, especially this time of year.

I love driving through the mountains, hiking and just walking around the trails.

I am happy to be able to share them with you, even though I am not the best photographer.

Take care.
