My Son
« on: June 08, 2006, 10:18:55 am »
Okay, sometimes I gloat about my kids here.  They deserve it.  My son's (his friends call him D) baseball team is 28-4 and now ranked number 1 in the state of Missouri and number 6 in the nation.  They have already secured a pretty good seed at the World Series this year in Arkansas.  D plays center field and bats leadoff and is the team's leading hitter.

Better than that, he is a good kid.

Just had to brag...

John

Bless you John. Be just as proud as you can be.  :)
Wish I could post cool stuff like you, but it is beginning to look like all three of mine will be heading for a government facility.
If ya catch my drift.
Just once in my lifetime, I would love to say I'm proud of my kids.

Hey all, sorry it took so long to get back.  We have been busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.

Hal, they play in Bentonville, Arkansas not altogether sure of the date yet.  I will let you know.

Theresa,  D is 14.

They are playing in a tournament this weekend.  It was hotter than fuck (taken from the potty mouth queue).  Three games yesterday, and three today. The cocky little shits got their butts kicked in the first game, but have battled back.

Yeah Justin, I do think they have a shot.  They are real deep in pitching, which you have to be when playing that many games.

An interesting stat.  Every time D has led the game off with a hit, they have spread ed their opponents.  Hmm.

Hello John,

It's great, that you have such a good relationship with your son. I never had any kids, but plenty of neices and nephews, that I watched when they were younger.

Kids are great, as long as they belong to someone else!! ;)

Yeah Ray, I think I have great relationships with all my kids. My dad was non existant in my life.  I think because of that I maybe go overboard sometimes with them, but what the hell.

I speak openly about my status to them, and they have seen the difference in me since Trish has been here.

I love summer time...
