A sad day for my family
« on: June 26, 2009, 09:42:21 pm »
To all those who wanted to know when my second great grandchild was due.

On Sunday my granddaughter (my grandson wife) will go into hospital to have her baby..but the sad and devastating news is they were told this morning that the baby had passed away, they will put her into labour sometime on Sunday for a natural labour and birth, as opposed to a forced one, until then we don't know if the baby is a wee boy or a wee girl.

AS you can imagine my whole family are in shock right now.

In sadness
Jan :'(

All Thom and I can do right now is to mourn with you and your beautiful family.  Such an awful loss to your family and those who love you so much.

The Lord knows that some wee ones are just too special to not be with Him and calls them home to heaven.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and your prayers.

My granddaughter was given her medication yesterday, they are giving her two days, we are all hoping she will go into labour by herself, if not then she has to go in tomorrow and be induced again, whatever happens it will be all over tomorrow.

They wanted her to stay but she wanted to be at home with my grandson and their little boy.

So until then please keep our beautiful young couple in your thoughts.

Thank you all again for your comforting words.

Hugs
Jan :'(

I am sorrowed to hear this news. We all seem to expect that every new life will be robust, and viable, yet nature teaches us that this is not the case every time.
I suffered a similar loss many years ago, and have never forgotten it.

Such a shame. Sorry to hear this, will say a prayer for you and your family tonight. Life makes no sense at times.

A beautiful little boy called "Alfie" came into the world today..blond hair and blue eyes, he will be farewelled on Friday in a very private family funeral...as you can imagine my grandson and his lovely partner are going through an extremely hard time right now so your prayrs are still needed.

Hopefully it will soon be time for the healing to begin.

In tears
Jan :'(
