first off hello, glad to meet some great people.  had what i think is a scare.  went to visit some friends and got drunk(same story i know).  They had called a escort for me with out me knowing.  we proceded to talk and she began oral on me with a condom, then after a few minutes she took the condom off and still gave oral but not for very long, maybe 2-3 minutes and then finished by hand stimulation.  I hope im overrecting but what are my chances of cathing hiv or another std for this.  my lower back hurts and i just dont feel right.  in advance thank you for the straight forward answers.

No risk. You don't get infected with HIV by receiving a blowjob.

There's never been a case of transmission from a guy getting oral. None. Zero. You aren't going to make history by becoming the first.

Other STDs can be contracted more easily including by skin contact. If you're sexually active it's a good idea to regularly have a full STD panel done -- at least annually.

For future reference, as far as HIV is concerned, neither the presence nor the absence of symptoms will ever tell you anything accurately about your HIV status. Only an HIV test at the proper time -- 13 weeks after and unsafe incident -- will give you that answer.

This time you don't have anything to worry about HIV. However, having any kind of sex when you're drunk is a dangerous situation and should be avoided in the future.

Cheers,
Andy Velez

How about going to a doctor? Whatever it is, it's unrelated to HIV.

Discuss the issue of STDs with your doctor, along with any other symptoms which are troubling you.

fill,

Keep your hands off your lymph nodes. Checking them all the time will MAKE them swell and keep them swollen.

If you continue to have symptoms, see your doctor. They are not symptoms of hiv infection.

You didn't have a risk. Not one person has ever become infected with hiv through getting a blowjob and you are not going to be the first.

Fillbill, I feel for the girl who gave you a blow job... its more than likely you could pass an std to her because, she was on a receptive end. Also there are other std's to aquire, herpes, hpv. gonorrhea and a few others. So get tested on a regular basis especially if you having sex with more than one partner. I hope this helps.

fill,

While getting a blowjob is not a risk for hiv infection, it is possible to become infected with one of the more easily transmitted sexual infections such as gonorrhea. You'd be wise to get it checked out.

Getting a blowjob is NOT a risk for hiv infection.

fill,

1. An hiv test is accurate and conclusive when taken three months after your last incident of unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse. As a blowjob is no risk, you don't need to worry about window periods for them.

2. Yes, it is normal to feel discomfort after having a cotton swab pushed down into your urethra. Leave it alone and it will feel better in a day or so.

fill,

I told you earlier that it was normal to feel discomfort after a swab.

You should not get an infection from being swabbed as the swabs are sterile.

This is not an hiv situation.

Why do you want to know that? HIV is not a gay disease.

fill,

This is the second time I've had to merge threads for you. Stop starting new threads!

I've merged your new thread into your original thread - where you should post all your additional thoughts or questions. It helps us to help you when you keep all your additional thoughts or questions in one thread.

If you need help finding your thread when you come here, click on the "Show own posts" link under your name in the left-hand column of any forum page.

Please also read through the Welcome Thread so you can familiarize yourself with our Forum Posting Guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.

You'll have to ask that question at the place where you have the testing done. I don't see a problem with it, but who knows.

You might also ask if they have an oral swab test available. They are every bit as reliable as the finger-prick or full blood sample tests.

As you have been told, getting a blowjob, with or without a condom, is NOT  a risk for hiv infection.

Still need to keep your stuff in one thread.

And as far as where you get the blood from I'm not sure it matters.  Blood is blood.  So prick where you like.
