Undetectable, finally
« on: July 30, 2013, 06:35:25 pm »
Just wanted to post this someplace & share my good news with someone that can truly appreciate it.  I had my 3 month visit with my HIV doctor today & got my results & finally, after 9 months of Atripla...I'm at undetectable!

*doing the happy dance!*

Congratulations !

I wonder what undetectable means, though.

This year, my age (an important biolagical marker) when slighthly above 50 to 51

I was in a crowd of younger gay men.

And suddenly I realized I was 'invisible' , undetectable , eventhough > 50 .....

Good health to you

Cheers

Thats great Noregrets!

You remind me of myself, it took me about 9 months to go UD, might have been a year(it's been so long ago).  But I can remember how grateful and excited I was when I finally learned I was UD. ;)

Congrats! Onward and upward!!!

That is such a great feeling isn't it? I hover just above or below the 20 copy threshold so some times undetectable, sometimes not...last test came back at 36 copies....

I wouldn't be too worried if I was you. 500 used to be "undetectable". LOL
(the definition of UD has always been based around low the tests can measure)
