 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 UPDATED: As of April, 2nd 2024,Viral load Undetectable.

My good friend Mike (we've been friends for over 30 years) has a birthday on June 12th - he was diagnosed last week with, and is undergoing treatment for Prostate Cancer.  Some birthday huh?   We all have to count our blessings.

My good friend Mike (we've been friends for over 30 years) has a birthday on June 12th - he was diagnosed last week with, and is undergoing treatment for Prostate Cancer.  Some birthday huh?   We all have to count our blessings.

For some reason I often get sick around my birthday. The night before my 30th I spent some time in the ER due to what turned out to be a really bad case of chlamydia. I probably had the HIV too, but was still in the window.

This year I have been struggling with diarrhea since the beginning of the month. Every few days it goes away, then comes back. My doc ordered a stool study, I hope he finds something in one of the 6 tubes I just dropped at the lab ...
