I almost made reservations for Vegas...just because I want to get away...but then I stopped myself because I can't afford it...so this got me thinking...if you could just drop everything and go anywhere you want, do anything you want - and not worry about money - what would you do or where would you go to enjoy yourself?

Anywhere I wanted anytime I wanted at the exact time I felt like it.

Hows THAT for an answer!

Iran and deliver their President a present. Then off to Venezuela to give their President some cigars from Castro. Then I would come back and relax and drink a beer and watch the news alerts. ;D

Well, theoretically I could go somewhere if I really want.  I have enough mileage leftover from my working girl days to fund 2 trips to Europe and 1 domestic.  I may go to France either in the spring or autumn, and maybe pop over to London to visit my manly ex-boyfriend.

I'd *REALLY* like to go to Brazil though, but I know my whorish tendencies would come out.  Either that or someone would light a bus on fire that I was riding.

LOL,

You know I've felt like running away recent.   I'm with Razor.  My first stop would be Costa Rica to just relax and enjoy the heat and the tranquility of the rain forests.   I loved those damn monkeys.   Beautiful beaches.   Maybe that is just what I should do and say fuck the bills.

And Philly, I'm with you time to use those air miles before they run out.

On any given day this answer would change, but Peru ... Machu Pichu   or maybe Istanbul... in fact, I was going to buy tickets to Istanbul once,  I had an appointment to go down to a travel agent and book a bunch of stuff for a big vacation.  That appointment was on September 12 2001.  .... So, that didn't happen.  I did end up having a really fantastic vacation that year anyway, to the Canadian Rockies.

700 years ago, yes

Oh, and make sure you plan your trip to see the Turkish oil wrestling in Edirne, and the ruins in Ephesus.  And of course Bodrum which is horribly chic.

I tend to do what I want and worry about money later.  I would've gone, personally.  And it's hard for me to say what I would do otherwise... I have about three trips lined up for this year, two of them international... so really, it's more of a question of "time" for me rather than "money."

Of course, I live a life of cash only... so I'm usually forced to stay in a budget.

Yes, well you don't have one piece of luggage to carry just for medication like I do.  30 biojector syringes are bulky!

I don't doubt it.

Perhaps I shall need them someday, too.

I'll get my kicks now... while I'm healthy and have streamlined medicaments.

I'm not implying that, Philly... but Captain Obvious feels the need the point out that health isn't a given.

And should I have said "while I'm young and beautiful?"   ;D

I'd rent a really big yacht and fill it with all my friends and take a round the world cruise. Mark will be the first one on board.
