Title: SWITCHING FROM REYATAZ NORVIR TRUVADA TO TIVICAY TRUVADA QUESTIONS
Post by: cityboy on February 10, 2014, 07:51:52 pm
Hey
Been doing fine on Reyataz Norvir Truvada.  CD4 800s to 900s VL Undetectable.  I take Zantac, sometimes 2 doses of 300mg split up as recommended by gastro doc for acid reflux.  Other times can take 150mg and am fine.  Always space the Zantac 6-12 hours away from meds.  ID Doctor is concerned about resistance developing concerning absorption issues.  I have been on this regimen since 2007 approximately with no problems no side effects no resistance issues.

Tivicay and Truvada are the new contenders for me.

Can anyone tell me what there thoughts are concerning developing resistance to my current meds while taking Zantac....

What side effects has anyone had to Tivicay?
I read someone had constipation.  Is anyone experiencing this or other side effects.

Need you guys helpful  input here.  Thanks CB

If you have being doing the Zantac/Reyataz thing for some years, and remain undetectable, what is the issue? If viral load rises, then you can switch.

But, then again, I'd do the switch just because I could ditch the Norvir and Tivicay seems (so far, touch wood) a very clean drug side effects wise.
