Jack, I just googled it and it does sound rather interesting as it dissolves fat and you just piss it out as opposed to getting liposuction.  However it also sounds like it's for "Britney Spears" types who simply want that very last bit of abdominal fat gone, the one they can't get rid of even with intense abdominal exercise.  I'm not sure how valuable it would be for more intense fat associated with HIV type subcutaneous lipo.

Have you looked into any more?

Don't know anything about the product or the procedure, but here's a general interest article about it that appeared in U.S. News & World Report:

And here is a sort of FAQ about the procedure written by a plastic surgeon.  Can't say whether or not this guy is credible or legit, but it looks like a pretty good general introduction:

From that last link:

"Lipo-dissolve should not be used for pregnant women, nursing mothers, obese patients; or people with diabetes, autoimmune diseases, vascular complications, or infections of any kind. "

this pretty much rules out any of us here...

Yeah, I read that bit about autoimmune but its hard to find any drug without that warning. None of the drs I know are using this so it looks like I will have to go through the front door and whole interview bullshit rather than just walking in and getting the shots. a real pain. The only places here in Houston that I found doing the treatment are the real commercial places. You know the ones that have the gazillion dollar offices and everyone there has had a boob job or some type of facial work, and the Dr. is wearing a 2,000 suit. Most of these Docs have the same hairdos that right wing religious wackos sport on TV. Everyone is so sleazy looking.  They always put you in some unbelievably over decorated consultation room with a beautiful babe with huge fake tits. Its always fun watching peoples(that you dont know and dont give a shit about)expressions when you tell them you have HIV.

Actually,

it was the "or infections of any kind." bit that I was really referring to...

as for plastic surgeons, I was surprised by the amount of men (with no visible problems) that I found in the waiting room on my first appointment for sculptra/newfill. Not many pectorally enhanced babes around either. As for my surgeon, well, he could improve his haircut no doubt.... and he does have a Chopard "mille miglia" watch, but I wouldn't hold it against him...

edited for spelling mistakes.

I actually went in to one of these Lipo-Dissolve clinics to find out about it. They do NOT treat HIV+ patients for lipodistrophy for the above stated reasons about compromised immune systems for one, but also for this reason. The fat caused by lipodistrophy is mostly fat around your internal organs underneath the muscle. It isn't fat between the skin and the muscles which can be reached by subcutaneous injections. Also, whatever it is that they inject, even if they could inject past the muscles, is harmful to your internal organs and can't be used for that reason as well. Basically, we're all SOL in the Lipo-Dissolve arena

I dont have that much lipo fat on stomach. Mine is all on my back. Back of head, back of neck, middle of back, sides of torso and triple chin. I wish it was stomach fat.
