« on: March 09, 2009, 08:21:39 am »
I recently went to a strip club in El Paso, Texas....i did some fingering on that stripper plus I did cunninglius on her....I was stupid.  I had 2 canker sore in my mouth went I perfomer on her....what are the chances of me being infected with HIV? I heard that oral sex is less risky, but my situition is a little different because I have canker sores.  and what about my fingering, I don't know if I had a cut or not. please let me know what my risk is...Thanks

Lance, you are worryiing needlessly.

Fingering, even IF you had nicks, cuts or whatever is absolutely not a risk for HIV transmission.

As for cunnilingus, there's never been a confirmed case of transmission in that manner. I don't expect you to be the first. Your saliva has over a dozen elements which are very effective in preventing the transmission of viable HIV IF it is present. Additionally, it is in the cervical area of the vagina, which is far up in the vaginal cavity, where HIV might be present in her fluids. And that is not where your mouth and tongue would have been reaching.

There's no need for testing. Just make sure you are always using a condom everytime for intercourse and you will be well protected sexually as far as HIV is concerned. It really is that simple.

Cheers.

Actually what I did also, not just cunninglius, but after I fingered her "deep" I put it in my mouth, my canker sores are new.  I'm afraid that the vaginal secretion/fluid might got into my canker sore and into my bloodstream....

I read on other websites that you can get infected if you have sores and cuts including canker sore if performing oral sex

We can't be responsible for what other websites are putting out.

No, that deep fingering would not change what I have said to you. HIV is a very fragile virus and in terms of sexual acitivty it requires the kind very receptive setting provided by an unprotected vagina or anus.

Again, you are worrying needlessly. But I can tell you that if you continue to surf the net you will absolutely find misinformation galore to feed your worst fears. So lay off of that stuff.

but there's a lot (and almost all) websites that I've seen it claims, that there's been a cases where ppl are infected that way....in some, they said that its hard to determine the risk since most ppl who perform oral also do vaginal or anal...

I'm just very worried that the fluid or actually, I'm not even sure if she is in mestruation, if so I might got blood on my mouth and into my canker sores, I can't tell because it was very dark in there.....

Your questions were answered. You didn't have a risk of contracting HIV from fingering nor with having a canker sore with oral sex.

I've given my evaluation based science and experience. You can accept it and get on with your life or you can continue to torture yourself unnecessarily.

You can waste money and get tested at 13 weeks to collect the inevitable negative result.

Up to you. I don't have anything to add beyond what I have already said about your incident.

Cheers.

I read on one of this website's link...under prevention, safer sex, and oral-vaginal and it says

"However, there has been one case of female-to-female transmission of HIV via cunnilingus and another of female-to-male transmission of HIV via cunnilingus"

so that means that guys have information where the female-to-male transmission did happen?? Oh man, I am scared....

You were advised with the "correct" information on this forum. If you choose not to listen then I suggest you move on to another forum to feed your no risk frenzy.

Lance, we've given you the real deal. For you caught up in your fears to select out the rarest of rare nuggets to fear your worst fears doesn't change the reality of your situation. You were not at risk.

If you can't let go of your fears then get tested and collect the inevitable negative result.

You would also be well advised to stop surfing the net because all you are going to do is unnecessarily feed your worst fears.

Thanks all, I really apprepiate....I don't think I would ever do such a thing again...I just hope that I don't get like a flu-like symptoms within 2-4 weeks, since that might mean ARS and I barely get sick so if I do I will freak out!

Well, whether you rarely get sick or whether you by coincidence get the flu within the next few weeks, neither of those will change the facts of your situation.

Yours is not an HIV situation no matter what your mind is telling you otherwise. Period.

I Keep thinking that those canker sores are HIV transmissible?

are those swollen lymph nodes sign of HIV infection...and if I rub them will they swollen more?

Lance,

Lymph nodes will swell for many reasons, not just hiv. And yes, rubbing them or otherwise touching them excessively will make them swell and keep them swollen. Keep your hands off them and if they continue to bother you, see a doctor. Whatever is causing yours to swell is NOT hiv as you did NOT have a risk for hiv infection.

Thanks Ann...but I want you to know that I did have 2 canker sores in my mouth when I was performing on her... would that slightly increase the chance of transmission

Lance,

I understood about the canker sores. NO RISK!

If you'd read the posting guidelines found in the Welcome Thread before posting like you're supposed to, you will have read the following:

Quote
Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Please consider yourself warned.
