Heres a youtube link of my Leap from the 108th floor...I think I suddenly regained consciousness around the 90th floor and started trying to swim.

Thanks to David for filming and posting these. I didnt want to take the liberty of posting the other 3 without their permission (BTW Roberts is hillarious, I think he jumped before the countdown!)
To the other 3...feel free to post them in this thread if you wish. You can find the link in your Pm :)

Will is the only one who landed completely on his feet!

omg, it's a butterfly on steroids no less!

I gotta hand it to all 4 of them, they actually did it.
The best part was each and everyone had the largest smile on their faces when they got to the bottom. You just knew they loved it.
Aw the memories.

I was the last to jump so by then David and the others had their technique down. All I remember about the jump is feeling the guy's hand in the small of my back and hearing my name then "...3...2...1". I remember trying to straighten out and fly like Superman but that was super difficult. I remember landing on my hands and knees but that was to be expected. Now I want to bungie jump off Tower of London. Emma, can you arrange that?

All the spectators will remember that the one who looked the worst didn't even jump! Not saying who....but someone spent the entire night before on the town and arrived at the base looking like it! I have a pic of him "crashed out" while the others were preparing to jump. The proper caption should be "look what the cat dragged in!"
;D

I've got to ask, What or who controls the braking. I also noticed some sort of basket in the rear, on another cable, coming down at the same time. Is this the control mechanism?
EDITED: is that another person in the basket, cage thingy?

The little thingy coming down with us is the video camera (in a box) that is attached to one of the 2 outer cables. There is no other person coming down with us. There is a total of 3 cables...the main line, and the 2 outer cables which prevent us from being blown of course.
Im not quite sure how the braking is done, but the cable is wound on a big spool, one side of the spool is quite a bit smaller than the other, and the line unravels towards the smaller part of the spool, perhaps this has something to do with the braking, all I know is about 50 or so feet before impact there was a sudden and palpable braking (Thank Goodness).

Jan your landing is somewhat more graceful than Robert's :)
I wished you all could have seen Jan as she was perched on the ledge, she was white as a ghost and I thought any second she would pass out :o But I must say the ledge was the most horrific ordeal I have ever faced, you have to stand there with your toes over the edge before you leap, your mind is telling you the whole time "This is not right!"

Well, after watching these 4 videos, I have to say that dearest Will had the most graceful landing... kind of surprising that he was the only one to land on his feet, I remember reading somewhere on here that gravity tends to pull him to his knees.............. often. ;)
Now I know it's true -- that Jan will do ANYTHING to avoid a wee walk........
Seriously, I wish I could have been there to jump with you all. From what I've been reading in this thread and others, Vegas was a wonderful experience for all -- as I knew it would be. Hopefully I won't have any special events pop up and keep from next year's gathering -- whereever it should be held.
Hugs to all,
Mike

Mike,
We missed you and hoped you had a wonderful time in Paris. As you know there will be much hand wringing and debating before we settle on a date and location for next year....so fasten your seat belts and stay tuned!

108 stories high? !! Its really that freaking tall? I used to go up to the top of World Trade Center all the time, and it was so scarey high. I have vertigo. Getting over it enough to ski in the A lps was a challenge. I bet I would do this jump, however. Bravo.
