« on: June 14, 2008, 01:14:53 pm »
Hey guys!!

Great news... I got an email yesterday that I have been approved for a scholaship to go to the International AIDS Conference In Mexico City in August. I wanted to share my news with you, as well as to find out if anyone from the board will be going? I have never been to any before nor do I know what to expect. Anyone ever been to any of the Conferences? I am really looking fwd to meeting people from all around the world and learning more about HIV/AIDS. I want to take in what I learn and hopefully come back and do something good for my community. I want to do something....

:) Thats all...

Anyone going? Any comments or thoughts??

Better yet...anyone live in Mexioc city??
Hahhaha

Hope everyone is having a great summer

Hi Seven

Congratulations.

I will be at the IAC in Mexico City, I'm representing the women of NZ, and like you I'm very excited about it all, maybe we could keep in touch via PM and catch up for a coffee.

Hugs

congratulations

we are having our own little AMG Aids Meds Gathering starting Wed, Aug 13.  We tried to coordinate the same dates as IAC but hotel space was not available.  Hope you can stay a few days after the conference and join us at out own AMG.

Seven,

Congratulations on the scholarship.  Frankly I am a bit jealous, though hope that you will attend with a mind to bring back to the forums your personal experiences for all of us to share.
