Hi, I'm male 22 years old. Until 4 days ago I was Virgin with complete abstinence however 4 days ago I decided to start and test myself by calling a sex worker. I used a latex condom but I noticed that she uses some lubrication not sure if oil or water soluble (I heard that oil based damages the condom but after sex i didn't see any visible tearing on the condom). she came on me first (I wonder if her come damages the condom but again after sex i didn't see any visible tearing on the condom. After 10 min of going on like that I couldn't come (maybe because of first timer). so I asked her to give me a hand job with condom on. after 1 min I asked her to take off my condom and continue the hand job. so she took off my condom and she used the same lubricant all the way going up to my urethra and down. I wonder if this pose risk to have HIV or other STD's considering that her hand was contaminated a little with her vaginal come mixed with the lubricant and the fact that she might have used an oil lubricant. however for the fact of paranoia I went to the doctor the next morning because I had burning on when urinating and a little redness on the inside of my urethra so he gave me urinalysis which was normal. the pain is present only 1 time/day out of 3-5 times that i go to CR. I have no other manifestations. Can this be just a physical irritation of the lubricant considering that I was going on by the hand job around 15 min or it’s a sign of STD?  in the other part also I want to say that I leaked her boobs and I felt a minimal discharge salty taste which may just be sweat or other secretions but she is not lactating and it wasn't milk, does this pose a threat to me as well or not? by the way she was not on her period and I didn't see any scars on her vagina however after she came the odor was strong, I don’t know her STD status. sorry for the long writing, thank you

Absolutely NOTHING you described poses ANY risk for HIV infection. You wore a condom for penetration, which is the ONLY risk for HIV. Her cum on your condom could not possibly damage it - that's what condoms are for, to protect the head of your penis, called the glans, from the potentially infectious fluids located deep inside her vagina close to the cervix.

The handjob was no risk. Any vaginal moisture you got on you was not a risk. HIV cannot reproduce outside the host, and under NO circumstances were you at the lightest risk for HIV.

Keep wearing a condom for penetrative vaginal and anal sex and you will avoid HIV. It really is that simple

Other STDs are easier to acquire than HIV. We advise that anyone who is sexually active ought to at least annually if not every six months have a full STD panel done to make sure you're negative all round.

There is a responsibility that all sexually active people should take seriously so , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Just remember you can have all the sex you want if you educate yourself and do the responsible thing like having regular sexual health checkups and refrain from having sex when you are intoxicated .

thank you again, this is going to be my last question. based on my description, when do you think Is best for me to check for HIV and other Std's and how many percent you think i'm infected to either HIV or other STD's? and will my urinalysis that was done cover for the STD's (not HIV which there is a window period)?

Your doctor or clinic will know what test to run if you ask for a full std panel .

You did not have a risk for HIV and do not need to test over this incident . For future reference , the testing window period for HIV is 6 weeks past any possible exposure and again at 3 months to conform the results .
