Title: I went to garden party
Post by: Jeff G on June 27, 2010, 12:50:13 pm: Last night at a poz social I met a very nice couple and started up a conversation and it soon became apparent I was talking to our very own forum member Alanbama and his partner Layne .

When the party was over we all decided to go out for one more for the road . That lasted until near about last call . Alan and Lane live over an hour away so they excepted my offer of staying over in my guest room . I think there may have been a love connection because my bulldog Zita took a fancy to them both and slept in there room last night .

I really enjoyed meeting Alan and Layne and hope they come back and see me sometime .

Yes we do Miss P . Every few months a diffrent person will host one at they're house . We have a good steady bunch of guys who keeps the tradition alive , I always look forward to attending . There were 20 or so there last night ... good food lots of drinks and laughter .

It is an open invite . There is no set schedule for the socials but I will forward an invite to you in advance of the next one .

For some reason I was humming the Garden party song the morning I titled this thread and thought it to be appropriate LOL
