Juvederm
« on: July 19, 2011, 04:59:39 pm »
August 2010  I paid $3.000. to have the upper jaw - temple areas of my face filled with juve-derm (supra).  Now, allmost a full year later, the results are holding steady.  When I had my procedure, my physician indicated that  juve-derm has a 'potential',  to stimulate the natural formation of replacement collagen.  Interesting huh?  My face looks pretty good so far.

Juvederm is an all natural substance.  I have been happy with the results, thus far.  As for the replacement collagen, only time will tell.

Congrats on the long last result! (expensive as it is)

I went to a clinic yesterday only to be laughed at. She said I was too obsessed and focused on the idea of atrophy and hiv-related weight loss. "You're aging naturally", she said  :D $750, including 1ml of Juvederm, if I wanted to go thorugh with treatment anyway.

I have not tried the Juvederm, I did use Sculptra  and I have it has lasted about 2 1/2 years now. I paid the injection fee and that was all Sculptra gives it to with Hiv who is fighting Lipodystrophy.
