Strange bumps/rash - please take a look

Hi everyone,

Recently (week of 10/20), I've been getting a couple small bumps on my body that I'm worried about. I've had one on my chest, my lower body on my upper thigh, and now on my face, probably all occurring within a month timespan. They are not raised, a little smaller than a quarter, and don't itch. Also, I woke up a few days ago with what looks like dry skin/and or pimples behind my ear. I've been putting some moisturizing cream on them, and I think it's been working. Here is a picture: http://i45.tinypic.com/167qyig.jpg

This rash doesn't itch it all, but it does hurt a tiny bit - it basically feels the same that a popped pimple would.

I'm asking because I've had two sexual encounters that could have been risks. Incident #1 involved me bottoming for a guy for 2-4 minutes with no condom, in which he did not orgasm inside me. When he pulled out, there was what looked like a little blood or fecal matter on his penis, I'm not sure. Since there was no blood in my stool or any other signs of it, I am assuming it was a little feces. This was back in April of this year. He said that he was tested before and especially after the incident and that he was negative - which I can trust, since he would not lie.

In the second incident, I bottomed for a guy for a short amount of time in a shower. He did not orgasm inside me, and he said he was free from any disease. This was also during that time frame, either April or Early May. That means it's been about 4-5 months since the two exposures.

Those are the only two incidents I feel that could have put me at risk. All of my other sexual encounters have been through oral sex and safe sex practice.

Since then, I've felt no symptoms or illness that I know of. No fever, no weight loss... I've basically felt fine. I think I might be just stressing myself out, but I just wanted another opinion. I plan on being tested in two weeks since that's the right thing to do, but I just needed to be told if I'm being paranoid and stressing myself out way too much or not over some bumps I've found on my body.

I guess what I'm trying to determine is what's the risk I had, through those short one-time incidents?

You need to stop having unprotected anal intercourse. Everytime you do it you are putting your health and your life at risk. It's just as simple as that. You can have all the anal sex you want to, but you need to do it the safer way. That means the insertive partner always needs to be wearing a condom.

In relation to the two incidents, basing your evaluation of your HIV status on someone else's assurance is ridiculous and absolutely unreliable. Even a well meaning guy may not know his accurate status.

Since you are more than 3 months past the most recent risky incident, you can get tested now. Hopefully you will scoot by safely and test negative.

Nothing in your "symptoms" is HIV specific. But then neither the presence nor the absence of symptoms will ever tell you anything reliably about your HIV status. Only an HIV test at the proper time can give you that answer.

Now get tested and then keep the condoms handy for using everytime you are having anal sex. No exceptions.

Thanks for the reply, Andy. I know that the two incidents were were unsafe and putting me at risk. At the time they happened, I was under the influence of alcohol and didn't realize what I was doing at the time. Since then, I have not behaved in this way, nor will I in the future.

They were both mistakes that I made and regret, and I have changed my ways since then.

As for incident #1, he showed me his test results and he was in fact negative for any disease or infection.
