Life doesn't get much better than this!
« on: November 10, 2006, 06:33:26 am »
I'm on a bit of a high this morning as last night I spent just over two hours stood in the front row directly in front of my idol - Bruce Springsteen - it was the closest thing to heaven I can ever imagine!

I have been a Bruce fan since the 1980s and seen him over 40 times in concert here in the UK and across the world and he never disappoints. The Seeger Session Band show in Birmingham was great, not the best I've ever been to but when you are that close to the man it's a whole different experience. I could see every bead of sweat fall! For a man in his late 50s he has amazing energy and clearly still enjoys what he's doing - long may it continue.

Two more concerts in London this weekend and then I'll have to start saving for the next tour!

Just wanted to share my excitement - hope there's some fellow Bruce fans out there who might understand what this meant!

Emma,

I'm so glad you had a great time at the concert. I would love to see Bruce.

I can relate to the high you are still feeling. I was like that for days after seeing the Stones.

Hugs
