Hello. I am male and performed intense oral and anal sex on a lap dancer 4 times in one evening about 10 minutes per time.
in the morning i noticed that I had scraped the bit of skin that joins my tongue to the bottom of my mouth. I must have done it with my bottom teeth during the act.
obviously I'm concerned and heard conflicting views regarding cunnilingus and mouth cuts and sores. Could you please comment on my situation.

Was the anal sex you mentioned oral or penetrave sex , and did you use condoms ? I need to know this in order to make a risk assessment . The cunnilingus is not an issue and here is why ....
Hiv transmission doesn't stand a chance of happening via female genitals to mouth - there are just too many obstacles on the oral route.
The first obstacle is the mouth itself. The mouth is a veritable fortress, standing against all sorts of pathogens we come into contact with every minute of our lives. It's a very hostile environment and saliva has been shown to contain over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv.
Hiv is a very fragile virus - literally. Its outer surface doesn't take kindly to changes in its preferred environment; slight changes in temperature, moisture content and pH levels all damage the outer surface. Importantly, it needs this outer surface to be intact before it can latch onto a few, very specific cell types and infect.
Which leads to the second obstacle. Hiv can only latch onto certain types of cells, cells which are not found in abundance in the mouth.
The third obstacle to transmission this way is having hiv present in the first place. The female secretion where hiv has been shown to be present is the cervicovaginal fluid. This fluid is actually a thick mucus that covers and protects the cervix.
The fluid a woman produces when sexually excited comes from the Bartholin's glands, located on either side of the vaginal opening. I have yet to discover one shred of evidence (and believe me, I've looked) that shows this lubricating fluid to have any more hiv present than other bodily secretions such as saliva, sweat or tears. Saliva, sweat and tears are NOT infectious fluids.
So there you have it. Once the results of the serodiscordant studies started rolling in, what we know about hiv transmission on the cellular level was validated. The only people who were getting infected were those who had unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse. Period. One of the three studies went on for ten years and involved hundreds of couples.

thank you for your response. Ahh, that read wrong, sorry. No penetrative sex at all. I meant intense oral (she was very wet, which also concerns me) and then slight analingus for a couple of tongue sweeps. If that makes sense. Everything was performed with my mouth.
I'ts just that as I was doing it I scraped that bit of skin with my bottom teeth and am concerned I could have been infected in that "entry point", again, if that makes sense.
it felt as though I had scraped it in the morning. I can't see any info on this anywhere, your input would be very appreciated.

You are worrying needlessly. The only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as condoms are used consistently for those activities you will be well protected.
Your saliva has over a dozen elements and proteins which very effectively prevent the transmission of viable HIV. Incidentally, even if the woman was HIV+, the area where the cells with HIV would be is the cervix far up in the vaginal cavity and not in the area of the vaginal lips.
No testing for HIV is necessary. Get on with your life.

I hope I didn't waste your time as there are a lot of people out there to help... But everyone's fear is relative, right?
I only came across this subject by chance on the web. Then the more I looked into it, the more and more it was "certain doom"... That's the web hysteria - not my feeling!
