Needed Confirmation
« on: May 18, 2007, 09:43:14 am »
I have read the main post on HIV transmission etc. Eventhough I think I am zero risk, but I would like to have confirmation from the moderator like everyone else.

On 20/4, I have an oil massage follow by a handjob by a massuer. She suck my nipples while I briefly touch her vagina (no fingering) and touch her breast. I just want to have confirmation that I am zero risk and doesnt warren a test.

If I wish to test, do I need to wait till 3 months or I can check like 8 weeks later?

Regards

You don't need to test, because you were never at risk. If you are going to test do it correctly at 13 weeks.

You have no chance of contracting HIV through what you have described.

Use condoms for anal and vaginal intercourse and you'll have no worries as far as HIV is concerned!

So what was the point in asking for a reconfirm if you are just going to ignore it?

Seriously, there is just NO, NADA, ZERO, ZILCH transmission risk from this incident.  Testing is unwarranted for this situation.

qz,

As the others have said, you didn't have a risk and you do not need to test over this specific incident. However, anyone who is sexually active (ie, anal or vaginal intercourse) should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL STIs together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with a sexually transmitted infection. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence. Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thank you all for the replies..... For your information, I have sexual relationship only with my wife and nobody else. Now I can sleep soundly.
If I only have 1 sexual partner, do I still need to go for yearly STD check up.

If you are not cheating on your wife and she is not cheating on you, there will be no reason to test.
