I wanna say thank you to all the people that gave me advice.Im very sorry if you felt i desrespected you.Well my test results came back NEGATIVE that was my 13 weeks test.I was very relieved but i still cant believe it .The reason being because my body has aches all the time and i cant stop the aches and body get really hot if im cleaning or something ..What should i do ?...Is this test conclusive?..Please help me thank you.

Thank you Rodney..Ok this question is for anyone who has some knowledge of hep C...I called the hospital who did my test the first time and asked if they tested for hep and they said no...Should i get these test done..why didnt the doctor do this test ?..and if i got hep does that mean i need to test for hiv again..i keep getting a sore throat and i feel real hot sometimes please give me long advice thank you

This is an HIV forum. You have a conclusive negatiive HIV test result. You want to know about HCV you discuss it with your doctor. Now move on.

You need to discuss any symptoms that are bothering you with your doctor. This is an HIV-specific website and we cannot diagnose anything here.

What we can tell you AGAIN is you are conclusively and reliably HIV negative. Period. In the future you can protect that gift by always using a condom everytime you have vaginal or anal intercourse. NO EXCEPTIONS.

From time to time there are reports of transmission of HIV gotten from giving sex orally. They never seem to old up under careful examination scientifically. On the other hand there are longterm studies of sero-discordant couples, both gay and straight, who have had lots of mutual unprotected oral and only protected vaginal and anal intercourse. Not one negative partner has become infected.

Good sense does dictate that if you have very poor oral care or a bleeding wound in your mouth that giving oral is not the thing to do.

Otherwise your saliva contains over a dozen elements which are very effective at preventing the transmission of viable HIV.

Give it a rest now here and get on with your life. Seriously.

Heartless, no you absolutely DO NOT need to test. Period. Frederick is not authorized to be responding in here and has been warned not to do so again in the future.

Now you need to get on with your life and stop indulging in a lot of unnecessary worry and drama about HIV when it is not an issue for you.

And you are going to get a Time Out for 28 days if you return again with this same groundless fear about HIV.

the test results didnt help me relieve my fears..i still think somthing is wrong..Me and my hubby trying to conceive but i think its not safe because i keep getting a single cold sore on my tongue..i know all you have great knowledge of these kind of things im asking for you opinion because i cant find the answer to my question...It is is oral herpes a single cold sore on the tongue and it keeps coming back ..and does this mean i should not conceive?

We deal specifically here with HIV. Period.

We don't diagnose symptoms of any kind. Instead of coming back here for something we aren't going to discuss with you, you need to be talking with your doctor(s) about your concern. If you do have herpes that has nothing to do with an ability to conceive and deliver a baby successfully.

You're HIV negative and that is happy thing. It also means you have no justification to continue returning here with your problems, whatever they may be.
