Young Athletes Fight Homophobia By Being Nude?
« on: October 25, 2013, 04:06:48 pm »
Even after watching 100 times, I'm still confused how they are fighting homophobia.  All the hot naked bodies in the video distracted me.  I guess I need to read more about their cause.  If naked bodies are not your thing, then don't watch.  It is tasteful nudity and not porn.  This is certainly a great way to get attention for homophobia.  I'm just not sure how being nude in a video accomplishes that.  I wish articles like this would give more insights into why they choose this route.  I will have to read more about it, instead of just replaying the video.  ;)

Its not a spoof.  They sell the calendar and give the profits to some group fighting homophobia and I think specifically homophobia in sports...
They just know their hotness sells and they are right.
Lots of firemen, policemen, even clergymen have done similar calendars.
I don't know why you have to search for some deeper meaning about the nudity and its relation to fighting homophobia.

It is for real , I get it , its playful rugby, cricket , rowers tend to be not so hung up about the homoerotic content off there life,s . Not so easy with football----soccer----
in the UK and that's a  whole new dissertation   Social Class and Homoerotic Fear.

Plus Ben Cohen,s influence .

Plus some one at Warwick Uni Rowers understands marketing.

Plus its delicious.

I'm just glad that there is so much progress being made.  However, you still apparantly have people like this.  A couple used the services of a Carrabbas server, who they believed to be gay.  Even though they said the service was great, they left him this hateful message as to why he would not get a tip.  Great way to freeload, by using your religious beliefs as your excuse.

Thanks Ted -------I don,t have to see it your summary told me all I need to know. It,s a illness creating ethical arguments that do nothing to cover the fact that your behaviour , is that off a shit.

And yes , on one off my rare nights out I saw 3 sets off Same sex couples just being.
By that I mean , a mixture off holding hands , touch, kissing all the 101 things that outdoor city life has for couples  if they where  hetro and the same skin tone. It now has to spread out . But its great to see it.
