It was great, meeting some people of the forum in real life. I met the guys and Eirin twice, the first time in the evening, on a strange terrace where they threw glasses on the floor and the coffee was not very nice (We will NOT take you there in september ;) ) and the second time for lunch on saturday, at the Esprit Café, which was great.
Siang and I finally had our conversation on Chakra's, something we wanted to do already for a loooooooong time. And really, having seen someone smile in real life makes the connection much closer! Hermie has a wonderful laugh and Joemutt is a sweetie really! And Eirin, I already knew that wonderful woman but I like her more and more!
It was a good appetizer for September.

Great to read you're all having fun in Amsterdam. This is a city I really like ( been there two times ) and looking forward to return soon. This is just too bad I can't in September as this time I'm planning a trip to Paris and several other places in France.
Have a few ( or many ) good brews and enjoy yourselves !!!

How wonderful to read your post today!! It's remarkable that as all of you are enjoying each other's company, I had the pleasure to meet Lisa (sdgirl) and Shane (livingpositvely) and share the day with them!!
How remarkable, as well, to read almost the same exact sentiments and wonder that IS meeting one another!

Well I m back in Bangkok now.
Eirin, Bobik, I was so happy to meet you, you're even nicer in real life! :-* :-*
Siang, Herman, I'd met you already, thanks for being there on that boat with me :-* :-*, thanks to all for your wisdom and smiles (and some tears);
Basically we shared drinks and meals, relaxed in the Vondelpark and on the boat and walked,man, we walked for three days!
The best was when Herman told a woman, who was asking for money to give elderly people in Surinam a warm dinner, that we all had hiv and lots of things to contribute to already and she wouldn't believe us, so i showed her my pillbox. We looked 'too healthy' to her. (we gave her some money)
BTW Herman you win the prize for ugliest pill box. :o
And thank you Eirin, you beautiful woman, for the presents :-* :-* (little statuettes of Ganesh, those will be healing, inspiring and soothing) Waterduck tx for the chocolates, Herm tx for your hospitality at the sea and your driving talents, Bobik you made a good remark about singing technique I ll be able to use, so really , thank you all. :-* :-* :-*
