Vancouver...
« on: April 12, 2007, 09:58:30 pm »
Hello,

If you are in Vancouver April 19th and want to check out a performance of mine, PM me.  I am doing a somewhat live, audio-visual set with images and sounds (mostly beats) related to much of my own experience with HIV (and other issues, however abstract).

Best,
Drew

He's only the originator of "Puppetry of the Penis: the Ghetto Years"

You people all need to be cultured... be sure and ask him about his private, sliding scale performance.

Ha ha ha.  Wouldn't that be "slide in scale performance"?

The closest thing to describe it would be "experimental VJing" or the real-time manipulation of images (and sound).

I am instantly turned on.  Love the artistic types.   :P

I'm intrigued and wish I was able to see this and find out more about it.

Drew... thanks for the invite... but, man o man its mighty cold up in Canada at this time of year... I'm an artist and employed in the arts... but, sometimes one needs to break from culture and just hang down by the gulf for a few... let us know how it goes... John

Vancouver is the absolute best city in North America. It is the funkiest, the most beautiful, has the best seafood, the best coffee shops, you can smoke weed in some bars, and  you will meet more great people from all over the world than anywhere i have ever been. Have been there the past two summers and trying to figure out how to get back up there.
