Merry Christmas. It's been a trying year, but thankful for the blessings I do have & for the new year about to start. I don't have family I can turn to because they make me not welcome in their church for being openly gay, and have in fact shunned me, to say nothing of being poz, if they knew that, it would kill them. I am trying to live for myself. It is very lonely at times, but I am trying to keep my head up. Sometimes I wish I was a more spiritual person, but since people have always told me you need to have a wife, kids, etc, it makes me very fucked up. I am in therapy, hoping it helps me be the most I can be in the new year. My goal is to reach my goal of becoming a barber, & opening my own store in a year or so if I can finish on time! Happy New Year everyone. If you are going through some hard times, I understand because I have been there & am still dealing with them every day. I am trying now to wake up & put me first and do what makes me happy & healthy. It has taken me so long to realize this, but I am now! I guess in many ways that's the best Christmas gift I could have gotten!
