Hello-
First off thank you for allowing me to post!  I have been reading through the forums and read the lessons but I have a couple questions. On October 1st I had a massage from a stripper who does erotic erotic massages on the side apparently. She was completely nude and so was I. She gave me a back rub for about 20 minutes and turned me over to give me a hand job.  She fingered herself for a few seconds for a couple of times and rubbed the top of my penis. I will add that I had a small herpes blister during this time on my shaft.  I later ejaculated on to her breasts.  At no time was there ever frottage or penetrative sex.  I might add that I have reactive arthritis and the day after I received the handjob I've had frequent urination and it feels like my urethra has been irritated. My thoughts are that something has irritated my reactive arthritis and it can't be chlamydia or ghonorrea because I got checked for those and they were negative. Are there HIV risks for this handjob? Thank you so much in advance for your responses.

You didn't have a risk . These are the risk factors for HIV .

Sharing IV drug needles immediately after use.
Unprotected anal and vaginal sex.
Mother to child during or shortly after birth
Very specific healthcare situations.

Use condoms correctly and consistently for vaginal and anal sex and you will avoid HIV . its that simple .

Thank you so much Jeff! Has there ever been documented cases of this kind of transmission even with open sores? Also, does this warrant a hiv test? My assumption is no but just thought I would ask!

There has never been anyone infected in the manner you are concerned with so you can safely move on .

If you had a risk we would not hesitate to tell you .

Thanks Jeff. Maybe the guilt took over. I haven't felt well at all the past couple of days so it might all be in my head. Although I'm still confused on how it can't be a risk? Does the virus die immediately once it hits the air? The time it took for her to finger herself then touch me on my urethra and open sore was only a couple of seconds.  Thank you very much in advance for your responses...it's GREATLY appreciated!

HIV is fragile and does not pose a risk once outside the human body in situations like yours .

If present , HIV resides deep in the vagina near the cervix in a mucosa lining , the secretions a woman makes when excited comes from glands near the opening of the vagina , those fluids are not infectious for HIV .

You simply didn't have a risk .
