Hi Davids,

I hope you are feeling better. Hospitals are not much fun. I am keeping both of you in my thoughts and prayers that you will be home soon, and on the road to recovery.

Take Care,

Hi guys / gals,

I'm still in the hospital HOPING to be released tomorrow.  I have no complaints about the treatment I've received from the hospital folks.  I've had more visitors from friends, family, and husband than I could have ever hoped for.

Thanks for all the positive thoughts and kind comments.  And Jer, you and T can start ...!   ;D

David will you still get your food delivered to you in bed? Glad to see you are doing a lot better. Take it easy when you get home. No sex for three months, doctors orders.  ;)

Great News! There's no place like home, eh? I know you're prolly in a hurry to jump your man's bones but take it easy and let him service you, which I'm sure he is happy to oblige.. ;)

Hi David:

It's great to hear you will likely be going home tomorrow.  All the in room parties (sounds like Montreal if you ask me), visitors cooing and gushing, attention, and waiting on you hand and foot, must be getting a bit tiresome!   :D ::)

Remember when you are allowed to go home to take things easy and allow your body to continue to heal.  DO NOT TRY AND DO TOO MUCH!  (Assuming the  diagnosis was PCP, you're going to have to be careful and make sure you continue the treatments.  PCP isn't something you want to mess with.)

On another  note, how are you doing on the anti-virals?  Are things going O.K.?

I guess what I'm asking, simply put, is how are you feeling?

Love to both of you,

RAB

David,

I apologize...somehow had read this thread several days ago and thought I had posted my wishes for a speedy recovery.

Glad to hear you're homeward bound though, and that you have an absolutely wonderful support network (not the least of which is your woofy husband  ;))!

Are you able to take the Bactrim?  I started on that last January, and it's part of my daily routine, along with the Sustiva/Truvada (insurance won't pay for Atripla  ::)).

Big bear hugs,
John

I'm back home now.  It seems kind of strange... like I was gone a long time (8 days, actually) but everything's still the same at home.  Not that it's a bad thing at all, but almost like I was in a different time thing.... or something.   Maybe it was the Sustiva!  ;D

Anyway, It's good to be back home with my hubby and all the cats.  I  have a group of friends and family that can't be beat, which sure helped.  With the wine and cheese 'parties', unrestricted food (i.e. lots of good stuff), and visits, I have no bitches about any of this.  Like I mentioned earlier, it made disclosure to my family almost a necessity, and I'm thankful for that.  A few headaches from the Sustiva (now taking Atripla) which aren't that bad seem to be the only issues, but they're fading tool.

Thanks for all the support, well-wishes, and kind words.  Along with my family and local friends, you all made this a lot easier.

David,

Welcome home. The house prolly looks strange because you got use to that white environment and now you're back home with all the lovely colors and you're bacck in your own environment. Now remember to lay back and get that servicing I was telling you about. Use those headaches to your advantage, ask your sweetie to get the aspirins, water, and a blow job please.... :D
