3rd hepB vaccine delay

hi
was wondering how much is the maximum period of delay in taking the 3rd hepB vaccine,had my 2nd shot 5 weeks ago now.

They recommend taking the third dose 6 months later.  I was late and took my third dose 7 1/2 months after the second.  My doc was concerned that I would not be immune and would have to take a booster shot. However, after completing all the shots,  I was tested and the results showed that I was immune.

About two weeks after you've had your 3rd shot, your doctor should perform a GMT (General Mean Titre) test. Provided the result is above 100 (though 10 will do) you will have sufficient immunity to HBV.
