Dance or stay home sober?!
« on: March 30, 2007, 10:34:44 pm »
Ok i thnk ive asked this question before but its friday night again and i dont know what to do...

I have 3 options:

1. Stay home and talk online until 2am and not drink anything...

2. Go out to a club, drink, dance, socialize, have a good time and then probably get hungry and scarf down a hotdog ruining my entire weeks diet (from the alcohol and hotdog)

3. Go out, not drink, probably be over it in about an hour or so and get the hell out of there (i dont enjoy myself as much unless im tipsy)

Ive been working hard at the gym lately, keeping a decent diet and alcohol screws me because i dont drink 1 drink I normally end up drinking 5-6 even if i say 1-2 only before i go out.....Drinking is not good for me but its fun....I have no job right now so i stay home and talk online till 2 am all week ...

WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!

I can understand your delima.  I often feel like I have to stay him and be reclusive so I won't feel like a zoo animal when friends see the weight I've gained from the meds.  I tend to take a weekend trip and visit friends.  But back to your question, set aside one weekend a month and go out and have fun.  Your going to die one way or another, so you might as well have fun while your on this earth !!!

There is no dilemma here.

If you're a True Gay Man, you'll be out at Club Papi, drinking vodka from a yard glass, munching disco bikkies, shaking your tight little tushie before going home to an extended session in the sling with a pipe smoking daddy called Sid.

I vote for:
3. Go out, not drink, probably be over it in about an hour or so and get the hell out of there (i dont enjoy myself as much unless im tipsy).
Because the sooner you understand the shallowness of what bores you (going out without street medications or intoxications in the system) -- the sooner you'll find something else to occupy yourself that is more in line with your goals.
Seems like you are going through a period of transition and you have to be patient with yourself while you adjust. (Easier said than done, I understand.) You're trying to build up that already magnificent bod of yours. Think of the rewards when you do get the opportunity to visit milker in San Diego!  ...........who's going to be involved in some gym time real soon too.
Be nice to yourself and don't soil the body with poisons, young one.  Remember you've been there; done that. You walked away from it for a reason.   :-*
xxx,
Mike

P.S.  MUST allow for a good time out now and again. I don't mean to convey some sort of puritanical impression. ;)

i stayed home last night and did nothing hehe....i guess im not a true gay man mtd (welll last night anyway)..although i wish i could have enjoyed the sling last night....

but since i stayed home last night if i face the dilema again i can choose choice #1 or #3 hehe...

Luckily i havent started med yet because ive seen some posts on here of people drinking and then taking meds and they feel like they were hit by a bus (but others are fine with it)....in my case id probably be better off feeling like i was hit by a bus hehehe

Don't feel bad.  I went out last night for all of 30 minutes.  Had one cider and then went home... tried watching some movie with James Garner in it for 20 mnutes and fell asleep on the sofa.

Wild times.

lol voguing im not a voguer....it is kind of funny though

im more of the shirtless boy on the box kid kind of guy (i was going to say kid but im not 18-19 anymore *sighs*) and then finds a cute tourist tourist to make out with on occasion (it never fails...if i go up to someone even if theyre latin they dont live here haha)....

i do enjoy drinking at home with friends but my friends here in puerto rico are the "regulars" you know the ones that are at a club EVERY friday-saturday night without fail...they have a panic attack if they have to stay home (another reason why i stayed home i dont want to get in that RUT)

being an active night owl sucks sometimes....because what ACTIVE thing can i do at 12am other than go out (i dont think running at 12 am is very safe lol)

I've been cutting back on drinking a lot, actually.

I know... it's like I don't even know me.

But drinking heavily and going out non-stop has seemed kinda boring to me, lately.  So I've been staying in and reading books and watching movies.  It's nice in its own way.

Gay Clubbing Rule #274-J:  never EVER be caught dancing on a raised area in a club... this includes most definitely the "disco boxes"!

i never read that rule in my manual...must have missed it....why was this rule imposed????

i never played by the rules anyways!!!!! (guess thats why i am a member of this site lol)

Now that you explained that rule to me i understand #275 which states "if you break rule #274-J NEVER and i mean NEVER fall off!" it was halloween though and i wasnt used to platform boots (but i bet it was the booze)

that same night i broke rule #278 which states "when leaving a club please make sure that you leave with clothes on" unfortunatly my painted costume broke and i walked out ass showing and holding my crotch....

i need to retake the ettiquette course honestly...

god those were good times....i never gave a shit in florida hahaha

but now i am definatly more calmed down :-D

My friend and I choreographed a dance to "More" fom Dick Tracy last summer.

It was so extremely, painfully gay.  But out of character for me and therefore amusing.

When I was 13, I was totally into a ghastly Brit Boi-Band called Bros. I used to lock myself in my bedroom and prance around singing their songs into my hairbrush.

You haven't seen me clean my apartment.

I put on what I call "The Sparks Mix" really loudly.

It has songs like "Grazin' in the Grass" and "Rock Your Body" on it.

I act very "I Heart XY."
