Honestly, should I worried and get tested again?
« on: April 25, 2012, 06:54:00 am »
Hi
I am a male, I visited a massage parlour on 2nd April 2012. Stupidly, I perform cunnilingus on the csw for 1 minute and had a protected vaginal sex. I am sure that it did not slip or broke.

My rackless act troubles me for several weeks. I begin to get worried of getting hiv. My guilt and worries hit it's peak on 20th April 2012. So I dare myself to take a full test that include:
- Anti HIV
- Hep A,B,C
- Syphilis, Gonoreha

And luckily, I got all negative. But my worries still remain given the fact that it could be still in it's window periode.

I am so worried that I even avoided to have a sex with my wife :( Should I really be worry and should I take another test? This is my only exposure. I am planning to take another test next month, but I am afraid that it will turn positive. Either it is a real positive or false positive :(
Please help, my life is like a hell right now.
Thank you.

At no time did you have a risk of contracting HIV in the situations you've provided.

vv,

You didn't do anything stupid. You did the smart thing and wore a condom for intercourse.

Condoms have been proven to prevent hiv infection. There have been three long-term studies of couples where one is positive and one is negative. In the couples who used condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, but no barrier for oral activities, not one of the negative partners became infected with hiv. Not one.

Going down on a woman (cunnilingus) is not a risk for hiv infection. Not one person has ever been infected this way and you are not going to be the first.

You did not have a risk for hiv infection and you do not need further testing. You are hiv negative.

Since it could be in a window periode, do I need to get tested again for STD or hiv? Or perhaps I can take my 18 days test as conclusive? Please answer honestly. I am scared to death :(

What you really are  is loaded with guilt. As are many straying hubbies who come here. But you don't need to get tested because nothing you did sexually put you at risk for HIV.

Stop with the unwarranted drama and get on with your life. Seriously.

Thank you Rapid, Ann and Andy. I feel much better now. Allow me to ask one last question please. Can my 18 days negative result be conclusive and do you ever met anyone with 3 weeks negative test that turns positive after 3 months?
Thanks

Your negative result is no surprise since you didn't do anything that put you at risk for HIV.

If you had a real risk, and I repeat that you didn't have one, but if you had a real risk you could test initially at 6 weeks. A negative at that point means the likelihood of testing negative for a conclusive result at 3 months. But this is all theoretical because you don't need to test at all.

Please be patient with me Ann, Andy, Rod

Iam sorry for asking stupid question again. But again, my life starts like hell. I had been to massage parlour this 2 days for sexual pleasure of course, because my wife is pregnant :(

In this two events, I only have a handjob and blowjob. But what worries me is that one of the csw had piercing on her tounge. I ask her if that still bleeds, she said no. She said that it had been done long time ago.

What if, lets say... it really bleeds. Am I in high risk if she licks my opening tips of my penis? Or when we do kissing?

It doesn't matter what details you throw into the mix including a bleeding tongue piercing and whatever. No guy has even been confirmed to have been infected through getting a blowjob. Given that it's one of the most common of sexual activities you are not going to make history by becoming the first.

Grow up and get on with your life. There is no cause for concern about HIV so stop the drama. Really.
