WORKING FOR A CRUISE LINE

HI THERE!!

I hope anyoen can help me out with this, I few year ago I worked with a temporal working visa in US, then when I Came back to México ( where I come from) I realized Im HIV +, and I was really upset and worried since I already had the planned to start working for a cruise line ship, now 4 years later I've been under meds and Im undetectable and cd4 over 600, my questions is that If I want to apply for a cruise line how can I handle or keep a health insurance to keep taking my meds, which one is the best for this cases and most important if anyone here knos if Cruise Line Ships hire people HIV +, I remember the first time I got the offer recieved a series of tests to be done and the one I got worried  was HIV TEST. I would really appreciate if anyone here has an idea or been throught a similir hiring process specially people outisde US with temporal working visa.

I was a little surprised when I saw this study which says it is possible in some cases; only 5 of 18 responding companies reject all HIV+ applicants outright by written policy.

I would check with the agency you're using and find out their, as well as the policies of the companies they represent.

Note, if you find the full study you'll see that those that categorize it as a pre existing condition will refuse to treat HIV, or associated complications.  Those that allow you to waive the test will count HIV as a pre existing condition if it is discovered later.

Thanks I will check and try to inform myself little bit more, since is a mexican contact who hires for the company maybe it can be little bit complicated!!
