First results after starting meds
« on: December 03, 2008, 10:36:35 pm »
Hi everyone

8 Weeks ago I was a mess, scared shitless about starting meds.
7 weeks ago I started Kivexa & Viramune (No side effects thankfully)

Today I got the results after 6 weeks.

CD4 130 up to 150
VL 36,000 down to 90

I am so happy I feel like dancing.  Stupid thing, besides my wonderful partner who is sharing this with me, I want to tell no-one else except the people on this forum, some of which have been wonderful support.

Thank you all.   :-*

That is definitely great news indeed.  Congradulations, I was in your shoes a few years back facing much the same fears about the meds.  In a way it is an empowering feeling  when we find those fears were needless.

Thanks for sharing the good news!

Congratulations on your new numbers, stick with the program.  I have been on meds for almost three years and my CD4 is almost 800, so  you  hang in there, and they will get better.  Take care, D
