Actually it's a very interesting article, and something I've actually pondered lately.  Makes me think that communities should begin to more proactively address this, and have some sort of "buddy system" for folks.

Aging & HIV

I remember Moffie starting a thread discussing older mo's with HIV going in together to prevent this from happening. Course anyone living with me would murder me in my sleep before I ever reached retirement. ;D

I'm going on 52, so, I can relate, I feel so old, when younger men look at me, I know I look like there father or grandfather to most of them  ??? yes, I guess I've become Invisible , but it doesn't bother me all that much anymore like to used to  ;D

I don't really mind being invisible as far as young me go. I am sort of used to that.

What scares me is the thought of being alone, with all my friends dead, and having nobody to check on me once in a while.

I fear I will die alone and forgotten, probably rotting until someone investigates the stench.

Not a pleasant thought, but one that does keep needling me.
