Prezista
« on: December 01, 2006, 03:48:59 pm »
Is anyone else taking Prezista? I started taking it about 3 weeks ago along with Combivir and Norvir. Mainly because I can't take most of the other drugs due to resistance and/or horrible side effects.

I've been on it for 6 months now, along with Fuzeon and Truvada (and of course the Norvir).  Excellent results, no side effects that I've noticed.

I was taking Aptivus (with Norvir), Sustiva, and Fuzeon and feeling lousy. I was tired most of the time and had persistent diarrhea.

A few months ago I switched from Aptivus to Prezista because the Prezista requires one Norvir with each dose, compared to two with Aptivus. I'm feeling a lot better since I made the switch. More energy, fewer intestinal problems. I think the lower dose of Norvir has a lot to do with this.

My doctor tells me that many people are switching from Aptivus to Prezista.

Good luck.

Allan
