Reyataz gave me a rash after a few months.  Intelence gave me a different kind of rash than Rezataz, after a bit over a year.  Both times the ID changed me on seeing the rash.

Its only a few weeks on Prezista, and I have a hive-like rash all over my torso. Its not awful but not the best situation really.

I have the shrink, ID, and dermatologist on the case.

But just wondered if there is something esoteric I can try? Magic? Meditation?

I seem to remember someone in here said he did a witchy pagan type ritual and got rid of side effects forever.

Well you could try mushrooms and a broomstick or sommat, but probably the rash is down to you and the chemicals :-(

I've meditated + had "hands-on-healing" (no, not sexual healing.  too tired) to get rid of symptoms and get my t-cells up and I really believe it helped.  In a few cases, the symptoms (like exhaustion or nausea) did return a few days later.  And even if the meditation didn't work, it sure helped me feel peaceful and happy--and sometimes put me to sleep.

btw, Anna Wise's "Healing Circle" is my favorite.

"hands-on-healing"

Was it Reiki? I know some people who swear by it. I got talked into trying it a few times, with no noticeable result. I was told it was because I didn't "believe". They're right, I don't.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

It seems to be the catch 22 of esoteric "treatments".

It's a placebo effect, I'm sure.

What about therapeutic drug monitoring to find a lower dose of my HAART, perhaps? At least that would be scientific.

I've had Reiki, some "chi gong healing" and some untitled energy healing from a healer that was really amazing.  Reiki even cured an aching back I had once.  Sure, it may have been some placebo effect but that's ok by me.  :)

Meditation, or the power of positive thinking works for me. Not necessarily with rashes, but generally coping with HIV
