Anais, neither of those activities you've asked about put you at risk for HIV transmission.

In this 26th year of the epidemic no one who's sexually active can afford to be unknowing about the basics regarding safer sex. Please read the lessons on Transmission and Testing on this site. You can find a link to them in the Welcome thread which starts this section.

The main thing to keep in mind regarding sexual activities is that a latex condom must be used everytime by an insertive partner during either vaginal or anal intercourse. But read the lessons and get it all down.

This time out you have no cause for further concern.

Cheers,
Andy Velez

Glad to know you found the exchange to be helpful.

Paranoid or not, it's good to stay awake to the issues of safer sex. By becoming well informed and then following safer sex guidelines consistently you can protect your health, enjoy your sexuality and spare yourself unnecessary worrying.

Cheers,

Your someone is wrong. If you would like to test, because of a previous REAL risk, then test. But for the the kissing and masterbation, NO.
