Hi..
I need someone advise me here!!
I had unprotected intercourse sex with a sex worker in Singapore about 7 weeks ago.
I dont she is HIV positive or not. I had penerarte her vignal less than 5 mins and I did cum inside her.
After that we stopped but we kissed only.
What is the chance I infected HIV? I had STD test, the result is cleared.
I had mouth ulcer about a week ago but only last for 5 days. No fever.
Now I have cough but no fever etc.
Are they the symptom of HIV? Please advise.
I just done HIV test but it needs to take 2 weeks to get the results.
I am worry!! Please help!!!

Whether you came inside of the sex worker or not is totally irrelevant in terms of risk to you. But having unprotected vaginal intercourse is definitely a risk as is unprotected anal. In fact those are the only two confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV.

It is more difficult to transmit HIV from female to male than the other way around. And this was a single and relatively brief incident. Both of those facts are in your favor against transmission having occured. If you test negative at 6 weeks or more then the likelihood is that you will continue to test negative for a final and conclusive result at 3 months.

But you need to learn from this experience because low risk is not the same as no risk. Everytime you have intercourse you need to be wearing a condom. No exceptions.

How about my mouth ucler and coughing ?
Are they the symptom of HIV?
STD result is cleared, is it indicate I have less chance to infect HIV?

Symptoms or the lack of will never tell you anything about your status. The only way to know your status is by testing as Andy has already advised you.

Although it is understandable to want reassurance and to guess about what this or that means, that is all just guesswork. And HIV status is never something to guess about.

Only testing is going to give you the reliable answer you need. The odds this time are in your favor, but only a test result will tell you for sure. There's really nothing more I can say at this point.
