Progression of HIV to AIDS among Hispanics?
« on: January 12, 2010, 06:47:26 pm »
Does anyone on here know anything about Hispanics being more likely to progress from HIV to AIDS?  Google has never proven to be difficult until now that I try to Google certain topics :(

Thanks!!!

Somedays the Google-fu, it is weak.

There is stuff out there and from what I can tell it suggests that socio-economic factors are key in why progression rates amongst Hispanics might differ from anglo-saxon and anglo-celtic populations.

(another example)

For the record I did a non-exclusive ORwise google search using <progression from hiv to aids in hispanics>.

Wow really good articles!!!  I had had an idea that it could be due to socio-economics and lack of insurance or proper medical care!  Thanks!!!  ;D
